John Thomson in 100 Years Project was founded and initiated by Tony Tang, Robert Fu, and Kazel, students who are interested in History. 100 years ago, Mr. John Thomson inspected the streets of London and distant oriental countries through his lens and used film to show the light and shadow of London and China to the world. 100 years later, these images still faithfully tell the story of history for people.

 

Now, adhering to the pioneering spirit of Mr. John Thomson, we shall restart this journey of light and shadow. We hope that through this project, in today's intensified wave of anti-globalization, the history of images will continue and civilization will be seen again.
